Terms and Conditions of Entry

By entering Meelup Farmhouse, you agree to the following conditions of entry. These terms are in place to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and wellbeing of all guests, staff, animals, and our surrounding community.

Opening Hours
Entry is only permitted during our advertised opening hours. Access outside of these times is strictly prohibited. Meelup Farmhouse is not liable for any personal injury or loss or damage to personal belongings while on the premises.

Animals Onsite
Farm animals roam freely on the property; it is their home. By entering, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of animal interaction. If you prefer not to interact with our animals, we kindly advise you not to enter as we are unable to remove or isolate animals at the request of guests. Please do not feed the animals anything other than the dedicated feed available for purchase on-site.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times and be under effective control. Dogs must be kept away from the free-roaming farm animals, in particular our alpacas. Please review our full dog policy below.

Children and Safety
For the safety of our guests and our farm animals, children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Entry into fenced paddocks and animal pens is not permitted. For the safety and wellbeing of our animals, any children found disturbing or handling them inappropriately may result in the entire party being asked to leave the premises. When reserving a table, guest number must include all children as separate dining spaces for children are not permitted.

CCTV Surveillance
Meelup Farmhouse is monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of our guests, staff, animals, and property. By entering the premises, you consent to being recorded.

Noise and Neighbourly Respect
Please respect our neighbours and local community. Keep noise to a minimum when entering and exiting the property.

Food and Beverage
All food and beverages consumed on-site must be purchased from Meelup Farmhouse. Outside food and drink are not permitted.

Respect for Staff
We are committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for our customers and our team. Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour toward our staff will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises.

Dress Code
For the comfort and safety of all guests, appropriate attire—including shirts and footwear—is required at all times while on the property.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you to Meelup Farmhouse.

oUR DOG POLICY

The Farmhouse is home to our loveable chocolate Labrador, Mila. She spends her days wandering the grounds, sun-baking on the deck, and befriending our guests as they dine. She is very friendly; great with kids and other animals, and like all Labrador’s, she has an insatiable appetite! We kindly ask that you do not feed her (difficult, we know, as she can be very persuasive).

Mila is a part of the family, and you can expect to meet her on your visit, something which is often a highlight for our guests. If you are not comfortable around dogs, we ask that you consider this before booking as she is free-roaming.

With the exception of Mila, our restaurant is not dog-friendly. This includes our alfresco dining deck. (Service animals are permitted)

In the warmer months (November - April), our lawn area is in operation, and this space is perfect to share with your dogs. As Mila wanders by, she may approach your dog so if your dog is not friendly with others, we kindly ask that you reconsider bringing them.

If you wish to bring your dogs along, it is essential that the following rules are adhered to:

  • Dogs must remain on a leash at all times while on the premises, including on the lawns.

  • Dogs are not permitted on any furniture.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

  • Dogs causing disruption, such as excessive barking, must be removed from the premises.

  • Dogs should not be left unattended, including being tied to trees or posts.

  • Please keep your dogs away from the farm animals.

If you arrive for your restaurant reservation with your dog without prior arrangement, we will relocate you to the lawn where possible, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled and our cancellation policy applied.

Our dog policy ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, and we appreciate your co-operation.
